How to combine PDF files without acrobat offline?

In this post, we will analyse some of the free tools available to combine the PDF files without Acrobat. Lets see one by one:

(1) PDFill PDF Tools and PDF Sam Basic - Both of these tools in their free version allow you to merge, split, rotate and crop PDF files. They are nice tools if you are looking to simply merge your PDF files one after the other.
Cons:
(a)They do not allow you to insert one PDF file within another PDF file before or after a particular page no. For eg., if you have two PDF files i.e. one having five pages and second having 10 pages and you want to insert the second pdf file before/after the third page of the first PDF file, you will not be able to do that with the above mentioned tools.

(b)Do not come with their own PDF Viewers/Readers.

(2)Quantum PDF - Quantum PDF can Combine PDF files without Acrobat Offline. It can also split, and rotate PDF files. Apart from this, it can compress the PDF Files and convert MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint files to PDF.What else Quantum PDF can do. Lets us see:

If you have a good memory and you keep your work well organized then its fine and you may be able to recall or search this Presentation. However, if you forget where you saved it or are unable to search it in your emails/drives then you may lose many hours or even days searching for that Presentation. This is where this feature comes handy. You can keep track of this Presentation by adding this file into the Tracker Page of Quantum PDF. You simply need to drag and drop your Presentation file on the Tracker Page and the location of this Presentation will be saved forever in the tracker page along with the date of saving the location. On a later date (that may be even years), you can find your presentation in seconds by opening the tracker page and you can start your work instantly.

(c)Dedicated Alignment Buttons - Quantum PDF has dedicated alignments buttons named align left and align right. These buttons are very useful for multitasking. For eg, if you are writing something in MS Word file and simultaneously reading some data from a PDF file, then you can align your PDF file in right/left half of the screen by clicking these alignment buttons without having to manually adjust your opened PDF and MS Word files.

(d) It comes with its own PDF Reader which is lightning fast and can scroll hundreds of pages in a single scroll.

All the above mentioned features make Quantum PDF unique in itself and you will not see these features in the most sophisticated and overpriced PDF Editors of these times.
